Beer Mugs Spring Beer Notes

Spring is a great time of year. The weather is getting warmer, the days are a little longer and that lazy summer feeling begins to creep in. This is a time where everyone is dusting off the barbecue after its winter nap and cleaning up the outdoor furniture. The garages are opened up and the patio set is reassembled. Yes, it is spring time and it is also time for the spring beers.

At Beer Mug World we can’t get enough of the seasonal brews. Some are great and cause us to scour the stores to get the last shipments while others . . . well we can do without them. Sometimes the breweries try to really out do themselves and they just wind up over doing it. I have picked two of the best ones for this year for this hub.

Blue Moon’s Rising Moon has been A + #1 this spring. I can’t seem to get enough! It is a wheat beer so it maintains that natural cloudiness and hoppy taste. For the spring brewing they have added Keeifer lime leaves and peals. This addition goes great with the natural wheat tastes while adding some bitter and sweetness. Do not be confused, it is nowhere near a Bud Light Lime or a Miller Chill. When served ice cold this beer is perfectly crisp and refreshing for those ever warming nights.

Persianlad's Beer Review | Sam Adams White Ale

Sam Adams White Ale

There was a photo here that I took from Shyzaboy's photos of a bottle of Sam Adams White Ale and a pint glass of it. The original can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/shyzaboy/3300812066/

Sam Adams White Ale is second on the list. This year’s brew is slightly different than last year. Now this is just an opinion and I could be totally wrong but it seems as if they have toned it down a bit. It still holds true to the unique and almost spiciness that it is known for. This beer is also fairly light and provides that refreshing “ahhhhh” feeling that you could be looking for.
